When the children’s home was first launched, it was nothing but a bare room. The generosity of people from the UK has enabled the Trust to purchase beds, basic cooking equipment and furniture, all of which has helped make it feel more like a real home.

The children have now been enrolled in a local school, and donations have meant LICT has been able to pay the rent on a new, bigger property for one year. The children have become very settled, the difference in them has been amazing, and more children are joining all the time.
